The clear plastic straps have a more secure/tight fit than the fabric/opaque ones. I have wide feet, but these fit perfectly. I wear 8.5/9 in regular shoes, but usually fit 8 in Pleaser. My only complaint about fit/construction is that the plastic cuts into my big toe, so I'll start taping my toe. Style-wise, I wish the glitter was black or silver (not rainbow) and there was a little more glitter.
