You know they're costume shoes when you buy them, so not super high hopes, but these are less than I expected from pleaser but still a quality shoe. The upper area is that faux leather that'll end up sticking to itself and ripping apart, so store them with that in mind!
The upper portion is not universal. They could add more velcro so you can go smaller. Instead, I'll have to do that myself, because they're BIG in the shin.
I think they will be perfect once I alter them for the purposes of costuming.

The top staples is slightly too small for my legs. I do have slightly bigger thighs then normal.
The size is perfect! The design is perfect! Super.glad I bought these!
Only complaint is the top strap not fitting/needing enstenders as well as the leather being slightly misformed to my leg but easily fixed.
Super comfortable!
