Aesthetically, these are 10/10. Adorable, well-made, gorgeous pearlescent blue-green color. They’re VERY pretty, and this is the only toe ornament I’ve ever liked on a shoe.

Function and fit: Unfortunately they run small, and my toes were much too cramped in the size 7. (FYI my feet are 8.75 inches long, about 3.2 inches wide, short toes, medium width, usually a 6-6.5 in flats but I like a roomy 6.5-7.5 in sneakers depending on the brand.) The inside is made of leather, but the outer part is man-made, so I don’t know how much these would stretch.

There were a couple of prickly pieces of stitching on the inside, although that could probably have been filed to smoothness.

There’s not much padding in these although it’s nice that there’s a substantial rubber sole. I was able to slide in some slim gel pads and it didn’t take up so much space that the shoe became unusable.

Should you buy ‘em: if you’re ok with your toes being a bit squeezed, maybe consider ordering up a size and have at it!

My verdict: Had to return these, but they’re so beautiful I’m sad to see them go.
