These are great boots, I ordered them for fun not and they were just what I wanted. Im 5'7" they are high thigh on me just what I wanted. All the reviews did say to go up 1 size, i wear a 9 and ordered a 10 but the 9 would have been just right. Worst part was lacing them! Will make more purchases in the future!

For the most part, I love these boots. They make me feel even more fabulously Bayonetta than I was hoping, and I like being taller than my husband. He also likes when I'm taller, which is what I was after. They take some getting used to as a person who doesn't wear heels, but they're not bad for ~30 to 60 minutes. I suspect I'll be able to wear them longer when my feet are more used to them.

They lost 1 star for fit, though. I'm curvy, so I expected some trouble at the thighs, but I didn't expect the laces to be drastically too short. I bought some ribbon and made new laces, so that's a solvable problem, but they looked really silly when I first tried them on. I ended up needing ~6 yards of ribbon per boot. I recommend a double faced satin ribbon to anyone else doing this - just cut the ends on an angle and melt them with a lighter to make it easier to get the ends through the eyelets. For anyone curious, my thigh measurement is 28" and my calf measurement is 14". My thighs are squishy, so I can get the boots closed enough that there aren't any gaps around the tongue, but it takes some serious lacing. Size up if you have wide feet.
