These boots were thinner than I imagined but they do have some stretch, flexibility and are comfortable. These aren't quite large enough for wide calves, even though they're adjustable. I'll make these work with some black stockings underneath, however, the laces are too short. I'll have to order laces separately for these, which is a bummer.

I bought these for a cosplay costume. I do not have large legs/calves and other brand boots did not fit snugly to my legs at all, and these only did when laced as tightly as they will go. These are the second pair a Pleaser boots I have purchased. The first pair was many years ago and knowing how well those fit, I should have just come here first. These are actually a little easier to walk in as the heel is not a stiletto. The only thing I wish is that Pleaser offered their shoes in half sizes, as for a proper fit I probably need a half size smaller.

Love the look of these boots, but you could see the glue coming out on the side, and the heel was already chipped when I took them out of the box. Also, my calves are 14.5” around, and without the stretch in the leather, they would never work. I can pull them closed, but this will definitely affect their longevity.
