I enjoy the soft feel of the plastic on these new styles but fair warning to my narrow feet dancers - these feel significantly looser than the originals. I'm dancing with the ankle strap on the tightest setting, and I feel like these are going to stretch out quickly. Even the bottom strap feels looser than I'd like, and I got my normal size :/
