My lady doesn't have much experience wearing heels like these. We started with the Sky 7", and she found them difficult to walk in. After some digging around, I realized the Aspire models elevate your feet less than most other shoes Pleaser makes. While the 7" and other 6" shoes raise one's heel 4.25" relative to their toes, these only do so by 3.75". Not a huge difference, but combined with the 1" less overall height, she prefers these and can walk in them much easier. Further ramblings on this below. The D-shaped heel also helps with stability, and to us looks more appealing than the round & stiletto options for sandals like these.

The patent black is gorgeous, I can't get enough of how these look. She has wider feet, so we went up a size. She found them pretty comfortable, even as a beginner. Build quality is solid, no scratches or excess glue around the insoles. My only nitpick is one of the heel caps is slightly crooked. All that said, we're looking forward to getting many years of good use from these ;)

If anyone is curious, the Aspire is tied in "toe to heel elevation" with the 9" Infinity and 10" Beyond soles. After that, second place is the 8" Flamingo at 4" of rise. Most others are 4.25".
