These are so beautiful on that I'm almost afraid to wear them! Not quite as much ankle support as a boot, but significantly better than a standard pump. I think they are beginner friendly. I might sub out the laces for some that are a bit smoother and flatter, since the round boot laces do cut into my skin just a little. I usually wear an 8.5 in regular shoes, size 9 in Pleasers is always very snug. These are TTS for the brand, but run small in my opinion compared to the average heel.

these are cute shoes in theory, but don’t wear them without socks (which i bought these cuz i wanted to) the corded laces cut the top of my foot after only an hour of walking around, and the gap on the side pinches the ankle. ordered different laces for these to try them again, but will probably not wear these often
